Muse Mondays - The Skinner Brothers

London based four-piece The Skinner Brothers, consisting of Zachary Charles Skinner, Slade Gabicci, Piff Spice and Chinopola had a insane year thanks to supporting The Libertines on tour in 2017. With their debut single 'Watchu' proven to be adored by music lovers all over the globe, ( over 50,000 spotify plays to be exact ) the UK fellas have followed the success with releasing their second single 'MoonLight Trippin.'

MB: You toured with The Libertines last year, how the hell was that? Piff Spice: Yeah it was great to tour with a band we've all listened to growing up, we all learnt a lot on that tour! What is a typical day in the life of the Skinner brothers? We always say: Have a good time all the time. So anything goes. There is no typical day; one day we could be in Camden, next day we could be at a members bar in Soho. Is there any hidden talents among the band that are impressive? Slade Gabicci (Lead Guitar) can play 5 instruments. If you could invite any three people to from history, dead or alive to come to a gig, who would they be? Gene Simmons, Dan Bilzerian, Don Corleone

Most of my readers are Australian, so how would you describe what Skinner brothers are all about? We'd say that we are just 4 lads from London making some sweet tunes, we just like to have a really good time, we like that band from Australia: The Chats! They're cool. Speaking of the Land of Oz, could a tour down under be on the cards? If you want one 😉 Waaheyy. I set myself up for that one... What’s the planning process behind each music video? We've been working with videographer Aaron Ford. Normally we'll come up with a little idea and then he'll take it away and look at how it can be developed. We want to do more crazy videos, that is... when we get the budget! Do you guys have any regular rituals you do before playing a gig? We all pray to the God of rock.
