Owner of Zeppelin Barbers, Jase Alpen let me pick his brain for a few minutes on this gloom and doomish Monday.

Since last March, personalised service is what ZB pride themselves by, and that is exactly what we all want whilst pampering ourselves right? So go on, have a little scroll to see what we covered.

When did you first take a interest into the world of hair? If that's the right terminology ha! JA : I was a hair model for Oscar Oscar one night and saw how beautiful the lady’s where, so I started my apprenticeship at oscars like two weeks later haha. You've had a journey from hairdressing to barbering, why did you make the change and why?

Yeah I did my apprenticeship at Oscar Oscar then went over to mods and rockers and did barbering. So I learnt the art of both and don’t Consider myself a hairdresser or barber, but a stylist! Ah yep, I remember Oscar Oscar Jase! So if you could cut someone's hair dead or alive who would it be?

It would have to be Liam Gallagher he is just so rock and roll and has classic mod hair cut which I love to cut, we would have a few beers, exchange stories and maybe a fight who knows! Haha. That would sooo be the dream! So your salon Zeppelin Barbers has been a hit as of late, what makes your brand unique? I think what makes us unique is we are not a typical barber shop more of a boutique studio, we are situated out the back of front yard a hair salon we have no street signs or shop front. So not anyone can just come like other barber shops on the coast it’s private appointment only and unless someone has told you about it you will never know. And we cater to more of the modern man with a style cut then more of your typical short back and sides. Big up for that! Any advice to upcoming barbers or hairdressers? Learn everything from everyone in all fields because you want to be able to use every golf club in your bag not just your driver! Wise words! What's one must have hair product anyone should own? Besides a hair brush aha! Haha! ZEPPELIN VOL 1 coming soon...... Oooh the suspense is killing me! What's the strangest place you've ever cut someone's hair?

No real strange places but I’ve cut hair in shops bars clubs festivals hotels garages there all a little strange

haha.
