Gone are the days where we cringe at the thought of being seen with an H&M label accidentally on show, or a Urban Outfitters bag being re used for food shopping. This is 2017 where most garments are so out of reach financially and high street shops are our saviors; literally.
Nothing tastes sweeter than gawking at a drool worthy piece and being informed that it costs less than your weekly coffee expenses; approx...$25!
My dear girlfriend Kiowa has a real niche for making you feel fabulous AF in whatever the hell you seem to wearing, so today she has embarked on a journey with myself to capture the outfits that that don’t need to break your bank but only expand your styling horizons.
We decided to choose a few sweet loves of mine, Topshop and Zara that would act as the main steal behind each outfit.
The key to unlocking the high street hot-list, is the wonderful world of the world wide web! Simply subscribing to a brands newsletters means staying in the ever so changing loop of trends. I usually print screen a few of my favorite looks and pair them with other campaigns that my weekly coffee moneys can pay for! Now the options are yours to make the outfit your own personal look; add your fav pair of vintage connies or a designer pair of pumps for instant steeze with ease. As silly as it sounds I tend to do the above steps in advance, so almost make a content calendar for fashion purchases; so outfit planning has never been easier. Then hey presto you have a lil' collection of on trend garments for the price of a few extra hot soya latte's!
Styled by yours truly, we ran around Chinatown and attempted to place the outfits in scenarios that we could claim they could overcome the following day to day activities, such as walking through a carpark; check, sitting on stools in public places; check, and the most exhilarating of them all; standing in front of a brightly colored wall. CHECK.
Click away on the captions and shop till you drop; without your bank balance decreasing.
#1 : Zara Aviator Jacket and Shoes, ASOS sunglasses, Topshop Bag and Knitted Dress

#3: Topshop duster coat, Urban Outfitters pants, Reebok @ Topshop trainers, ASOS crop top

The results were clearly the garments were feasible for everyday life, the prices passed with flying colors and even left us with a few dollars for a cheeky cocktail that afternoon.
Bye for now!
